Ugh...Why did I buy this?: MAC's Siss Lipstick Edition

So I know we all have bought things that at first we were excited about, then we get it home and it's a NO. I COMPLETELY felt that way about Mac's Siss Lipstick. I use it because I bought it but it's NOTHING like what I thought it was going to be. I was hoping that I could achieve the nude lip without looking like I just ate a box of powdered doughnuts. I ABSOLUTELY adore TheSPNation on the YT, but this was not a good recommendation from him. Actually to be honest, I've come to realize that I CAN'T do the Nude lip trend. It just doesn't work out for me. I can't even say that this a pretty lip color to be honest. It just DOESN'T do it for me. I have to do soooo much to this lipstick to even make it work and I was determined to make this trend work for me too. Ugh...well you win some and you lose some lol. What's she wearing: Chrisette Michele Edition

So let's ignore Officer Ricky and focus in on Chrisette's lipstick. Red lipstick is SUPER in right now and I think that I might have found the color that she's wearing in the video. I will say that before you use this color you will definitely have to moisturize your lips. I'm talking about MUFE's Rouge Artist Intense in Matte 8. Plus you might also want to exfoliate your lips because it will pick up any flaws that you have. It is a definite bright red lipstick that is really pretty. In my opinion, it's a true red and it is DEFINITELY an in your face red. So if you like Chrisette's look and you want an in your face Red. Try out MUFE's Matte 8, but remember to MOISTURIZE your lips because it is a matte lipstick. It will NOT add any moisture to lips but it won't dry it out either. ~So until next time...stay Beautifully Unique~

Put Your Kids to Bed Files: Keri Hilson and Raheem Devaughn

You know.....mmph where do I start. These two individuals have stooped to the lowest of the low for some album sales. I mean *lets out HUGE sigh*....let us begin this rant shall we.








So we'll start with Ms. Keri.....ugh chile. By far she is the QUEEN of biting other artist's style, ESPECIALLY for this album. I mean the promo pics SCREAM Beyonce and this "The Way You Love Me" video is a failed attempt of overly sexual Ciara video. Which I'm confused as to why you would even copy someone that's having trouble pushing their own album sales...le sigh. Hell the video isn't what really shocks me it's the damn lyrics. "Fuck me, Fuck me"...I mean really Keri. The video is a FAIL and the song is a damn EPIC FAIL. Her whole team just needs to go back to the drawing board so this chile can try and figure out who the hell she really is. Because she is DEFINITELY confused.






Raheem. Raheem. Got damn Raheem. You know he disappoints me because he actually puts out decent music. And I ACTUALLY like the damn song. It's just that this video is RI-DAMN-DICULOUS. I just don't understand. This is a DAMN porno. I mean at first I was like well we know what Raheem does...but then they went to the bedroom scene. REALLY Raheem....OMG people WILL get fired for checking this video. I mean he actually has talent. Are artist really that damn desperate for sales...this is just unacceptable. Then when you receive negative feedback your answer to is that's just what you do and you're showing people another side of you. *EXTREME Side-eye* I'm not buying. What I suggest is that you both work on you professional images and go back to the drawing board because I reject BOTH of you. Both Keri and Raheem look skank and that's that.

Metallic Nails and Glittery Nails..Say What?

I absolutely ADORE metallic nails.....le sigh. But I have NOT found a nail polish that will do it for me. Maybe I'm just picking up the wrong bottles...eh I guess lol. I bought this nail polish from Walgreens...so we'll see how that goes or I may just go and buy this color from OPI. *Kanyeshrugs*







I just purchased Sephora's Looks Like Rain Dear nail polish and it's a lovely glitter fest. I feel like I'm in the Christmas spirit...this was definitely worth the purchase. It only needs two coats to be opaque. My only downside about it is that it doesn't have the smooth feeling that I'm used to with nail polish but hey it's pretty lol.
